What is an E-Portfolio?

According to the Regis University Electronic Portfolio Project, E-Portfolios are defined as "A portfolio is a collection of work developed across varied contexts over time. The portfolio can advance learning by providing students and/or faculty with a way to organize, archive and display pieces of work” (Regis University, 2003). It is a fantastic way of keeping a compilation of your work that you can take virtually anywhere! It is accessible anywhere that you have internet access. So, hypothetically, if you forget your resume, you can show off your beautiful e-portfolio, where you can have a copy of your resume uploaded and/or embedded into the site. It is a fantastic way to track your progress and work over a period of time! It is also a great and beautiful way of telling people a little bit more about you!

I chose Wix as my e-portfolio server. It is fantastic! It is extremely aesthetically pleasing and it also was very accessible and user-friendly to someone, such as myself, who does not have a great background on website design.

Which e-portfolio server did you use and in three words, why did you choose it? I would love to hear about the numerous other e-portfolio servers out there!
